"We believe big changes start with small actions that don’t compromise one’s lifestyle and habits."
It all started with a simple, yet ambitious vision.
A few years ago, university friends Samuel Leroux and Alexandre Desabrais embarked on a journey to find a business idea that would have a positive impact on the world we live in.
Watch lovers at heart, they spent a lot of time analysing the sector. This analysis, combined with their curiosity, their passion and their burning desire to have a meaningful impact on the world have made them realise it was time to challenge the status quo of an industry anchored in overconsumption.
A no-compromise approach
Since the beginning, Solios aims to prove that it is possible to reconcile design, elegance and sustainability. No compromise here: each timepiece features carefully curated materials, ethical processes and, most and foremost, timeless and minimalist aesthetics.
That’s what we call a small accessory with a big impact.
A bright idea doesn't happen overnight. Ours took years of discovery and ambition. Here's our story...
Where thoughtful design, sustainability & solar come together.
Thoughtful design
A perfect blend of minimalism and elegance, to make sure your watch will adorn your wrist for years to come.
Sustainable practices
Every component of a Solios watch has been carefully curated with Mother Earth in mind. We are pretty sure she would approve.
Solar Movement
Powered by a clean, renewable energy to avoid planned obsolescence, and encourage a brighter, greener future.
Always looking at the bigger picture of sustainability.
Proud to say we are the first.
We created Solios with the burning desire to make the world a better place: getting a B Corp certification was therefore a no brainer. We are now proud to say that we are the first watch company to get the certification.
Giving back at the core of our values
All of Solios’ partnerships are built around a shared vision: to make the world a better place. Thanks to the Rainforest Trust’s unique and cost-effective approach, we can ensure efficient and sustainable results when it comes to the long-term protection of endangered lands.
Soak Up the Sun
Have you ever had a watch sitting on its own in one of your drawers? Opting for a solar-powered watch could prevent the production of 1 billion toxic batteries.
